Hey Marvin... I'm glad that praying the way you describe brings you peace. Oooops, now that I think of it, did you say that it brings you peace? I suspect that doing the same would make me anxious and paranoid.
I guess I'm more in tune with what Jesus said in John 14 - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.
